In the hotel there's also a bar, open whenever you want and a rooftop terrace where you can have a romantic dinner or a drink. However this hotel's biggest asset is it's staff. They are lovely people who will go above and beyond to make your experience even better. From freshly prepared 4 course breakfast, served on the balcony to making teapots of mojito to teaching you salsa on the rooftop. They will make sure your stay is comfortable and fun.   We stayed here 4 nights on the first part of our trip to this fascinating country. As country dwellers we found the sights and non-stop sounds of Habana vieja... read more initially somewhat bewildering and this place is right in the middle of it. We won't repeat what others have said about the fabulous staff, welcoming attitude and nice breakfasts as it's all true. As a helpful comment for possibly older travellers there are steep stairs up to the reception and rooms, and the street outside can be noisy at night so earplugs might come in handy. Overall this is a place to experience Havana in the raw. It's safe and so much more authentic than the sterile city centre hotels. PS: They serve cocktails in teapots with a straw!

We had a excellent breakfast every day, with coffee and juice, vegetables, bread, marmalade, cheese and eggs madein every way we wanted.
The stuff is very nice and helpful.
Most of the sightseeing places are reachable in walking distance. A lot of restaurants and bars are around, for covid they were all cclosed, but the stuff organised take away for us and made delicious cocktails at the hotel bar.
We will get back to this place when covid is over and enjoy real Habana life there. We recommend this place for having a great time in Havanna! More
